This evening finds us in a campgrounds in the Asatian city of Strasbourg. The Bulli has managed amazingly, and after last night's drizzly stay in an odd campsite outside of Wiesbaden--whose entrance sign rather forbodingly proclaimed that gypsies were welcome, we made good time to France.
Though our camping ventures have thus far turned out to be some sort of lightening rod for unseasonable weather, we are having a great time exploring and rambling down the road. We ate a late lunch in an adorable cafe--the Beer Academy, and have regional fare, including a torte flammbe with roquefort cheese, and we saw the impressive cathedral and old city that's built on an island criss-crossed by canals. Tomorrow will see us further south to Colmar and sundry.
