Yesterday we continued our adventures in Manhattan, trying to utilize
the
subway more to cover more ground. We explored Wall Street and the Financial District, then the Ground Zero sight. We took a long walk along the paths in Battery Park, viewing the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island from a distance. Later, we took a superfast elevator ride to the top of Rockefeller Center and saw the entire city from high up. The Empire State Building is illuminated in yellow and red in honor of the 60th anniversary of the Peoples' Republic of China. Before going home, we took a brief walk through the neon craziness that is Times Square.

AntwortenLöschenwir verfolgen Eure Spuren (…die so herrlich erfrischend porträtiert sind..) mit großem Interesse. Schade das die Bilder nicht wackeln (..meinen natürlich Leben..), aber mit unserer Fantasie können wir uns das schon ganz gut ausmalen.
