Dear gentle readers--we have not even begun to exhaust the island of Manhattan but we are trying to branch out and explore more of the real New York. Heiko wants to see Harlem and the guide book recommends that one go there early Sunday morning since it's not the safest. We browsed the 'Flohmaerkte' in the Troedel district and went across the East River to Long Island for an amazing look back during sunset at the skyline. We'll see what adventures are left for these couple of days. Meanwhile, we have discovered a whole range of miscellany, like this piece of the Berlin Wall installed in Battery Park.
