.: hither and yon :.

We have sadly been neglecting our little travel blog for just over a year now and with our new accessories and instant sharing, it’s become rather hard to re-group and play catch-up, but I am hoping that we’ll get back in practice and wanted to present a little holiday-rodeo starting from where we last left off.
In April of 2015, we visited J’s parents in Columbus, Georgia and stayed in a swank beach-front bungalow in Gulf Shores, Alabama with a lot of other interesting attractions besides, including FDR’s South White House and Macon, Georgia. In May we went back to Schmalkalden and the Neckar valley by Heidelberg and had a look at the zoological gardens of Leipzig.
In August, we visited the Dragon’s Gorge in the Rennsteig, which we have drove past on our way to Saxony many times, met a lot of kindred animals in the Opel Zoo and took a tour of Bad Nauheim. September had us back in the Lombard region of Italy, first back to Lake Como and then on to Lake Garda.
Finally, in November, we went to explore Vienna. For our further adventures, we will strive to keep them outside of the walled-garden that is the balliwick of all these social-mediators, since each memory and experience deserves much more of a send-up.
